Anyway, then I graduated college and "grew up" and became far too mature and intellectual for such reality junk shows as The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. I mean, I had suffered through four years of the petty jealousy and stupid cliques when I was in high school, why would I want to re-live that every week in a dumb television show?
Perhaps I have reverted back to my high school days, but I am devoting myself to this season's show. Rick and I were flipping through the channels the other night and saw a preview for it, and I don't know, I just want to watch how this one pans out.
It has nothing to do with Jake's abs.
Nothing at all.
Anyway, Rick was desperate to watch the Boise State game the other night, so I didn't even broach the
So I watched it on Hulu.com instead.
In my classroom.
During school hours.
Oopsies.
What? At least it was during my prep period.
It's not like I gave the kids a study hall so that I could watch the episode.
I'm saving that for the final rose ceremony, obviously.
If the previews are any indication, this season's show is going to be ABC's finest work yet. Those wenches are desperate, psychotic, and wild!! Three of them have already professed their undying love for him, and one girl basically said she'd have a nervous breakdown if Jake didn't choose her. He ended up giving her a rose, but I'm pretty sure the producers forced him to just to make things interesting in the next episodes. Love it!!
Yeah, yeah, I know I should hate this show since it's pretty chauvinistic, but who cares? It's quality television!
So, happy watching, readers, and have a happy, happy weekend.
Rick leaves on Sunday. Prepare yourselves for a very depressed Jamie next week. :-(
